Hi! I want to start a women's underwear business. I don't quite know where to go to get fabric and get it manufactured or even just to get a prototype made. I have a great idea for packaged pieces that are a little on the edgy side and fun. I also need to see where I can get packages made. I'm also looking for someone to help me get a business plan together for this which is just a small side of the whole incredible project. I would appreciate any help.
    PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Are you still interested in this business?

  3. Hmm, well, it would be a good idea to start by checking your free credit report. That way you know where your credit is starting off, and what kind of loan you can apply for.

Other then that, it's probably a good idea to sit down with a financial planner, and decided what to put the funds towards.

    Best of luck!

Well take a look around at other businesses that have done the same or even more difficult tasks such as a specialty mens underwear store.

Honestly... you don't know where to buy fabric? How about a fabric store? Surely there's one in a city near you. As for getting a prototype made.. are you drawing the patterns yourself? If not you'll have to work with someone to draw proper patterns - likely a fashion student would do a good job for a decent price or someone you could find on craigslist - just post an odd saying you need some patterns drawn up, offer a reasonable rate. Same goes for having the prototypes made.

  5. I would suggest taking a first step in making your own business you must consider the advantage of your business to the buyer or your costumer and secondary only the profit you will receive from your business. Thats is a good attitude of being a good business person. For your underwear business, comfort of your costumer and the fit of your products is really important.

I've always loved movies, art and clothes. And comfort is really important when we are selecting our womens nighty, ladies nightdress, and night dress.

  6. Just choose a good fabric like cotton that is suited for the underwear and also a silk I think that is a common fabric to that kind of garments.
